The Kremlin’s Influence Quarterly – Report Launch March 25

On Thursday, March 25, 2021 (11 am EST/ 16:00 CEST/ 17:00 EEST), Free Russia Foundation launches the third issue of the Kremlin’s Influence quarterly journal. The Kremlin’s Influence Quarterly is an online publication analyzing the Kremlin’s malign activities in Europe aimed at undermining European values and democratic institutions. The quarterly will feature case studies collected by the FRF team and theoretical methodologies developed by its scholars. In this presentation, Răzvan-Ovidiu Ceuca will discuss various instruments that Putin’s Russia uses to exert malign influence in Romania. Anton Shekhovtsov will analyze the reasons and agendas behind the attacks of the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov on France and President Emmanuel Macron in autumn 2020.
