Torrey Pines - Time Lapse Overview - Reloaded

Time lapse video of the growth of Californian Torrey Pine seeds. The pictures were taken from 23 Feb 2008 until 02 Oct 2008 - a duration of almost 8 month. Starting with two frames per days (difficult with the light), later one frame per day in the evening with artificial lighting. I gathered most of my seeds east of the golf court in the front yard of some UCSD building and simply on the sidewalk above the road - after checking the needle count of their parents to be really five. Starting in Nov 2007 I got a dozen of seedlings from over 100 seeds germinating in Feb 2008 in a small plastic box and some pots (always without any stratification).
