I first had this cheese burst toast sandwich when I lived in South Korea. The recipe is actually a Korean street food favourite. When I first ordered it and saw the corn, I was really sceptical. Once I had a taste, however, I was sold. The corn was sweet, the cheese oozed out, and the bread was toasted to perfection. The sandwich was perfectly seasoned too. If that’s possible with a sandwich. I just can’t say enough good things about this sandwich.
Of course, if you know me at all, I came home and attempted to reproduce it. After doing a few alterations, it turned out to be a success. I have eaten this ever since.
