Computing: From Bitcoin to Ripple to Grateful Dead to FLOSS

I am a FLOSSer (i.e. a user of Free/Libre Open Source Software). Bitcoin is an open source peer-to-peer digital currency. OpenCoin Inc. was an open/global currency system. Ripple is an open source peer-to-peer payment system. Ripple is also a song by the Grateful Dead (and it’s’ playing in the background). Some people consider Jerry Garcia the father of Open Source.
