Experimenting with particles again in TouchDesigner. I’m using beat detection, the Event CHOP, and a custom GLSL TOP to render a 128x128 Tex3D. The Tex3D has about 180 depth layers to keep track of sets of particles. Then in a separate render TOP, I render a particle for each pixel in the Tex3D. This runs glitch-free at 60fps at 2560x1600 on my computer, but it doesn’t record well, even in non-realtime mode.
