Resilient Extra Terrestrial Habitats (RETH) at Purdue

The Resilient ExtraTerrestrial Habitats Institute is working to ensure that the first long-term settlement on other planetary bodies is safe from hazards such as meteoroids, Marsquakes, sandstorms, and radiation. Shirley Dyke and her team at the RETH Institute at Purdue just received $15 million from NASA to find solutions to these issues, using resilience, intelligence, and autonomous robotics.
