LIVE: UK’s largest pro-Palestinian protest in London on Armistice Day

Live from the start of large pro-Palestinian march in London. The Metropolitan Police are bracing for the largest pro-Palestinian rally yet amid fears of clashes with far-right counter-protesters. Nearly 2,000 officers, including 800 drafted in from across the country, will be deployed on the streets of London. There are concerns about the risk of counter-protests, particularly around the Cenotaph, by groups with far-right links. Organisers expect more than 500,000 people to attend the pro-Palestinian march, which is calling for a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel. It will be the fourth protest staged in London since the terror attack on Israel by Hamas on October 7.
