Trampoline Story (1959)

Skegness, Lincolnshire. At Butlin’s Holiday Camp we see several shots of a man and then a girl bouncing about on a trampoline on the grass while a large crowd watches. The girl turns somersaults, then leaps off the trampoline and lands in a mid-air swan dive in a man’s arms - hoopla! We then see several brief shots of campers having a go on the trampoline, mostly just flopping onto their stomachs and backs. One man seems to come down right on the very edge of the trampoline, where it isn’t bouncy - youch! Two athletic men drag a girl from her seat among the spectators; one of the men carries her to the trampoline and throws her onto it; then they bounce up and down on it so that she, sitting, also bounces. The net petticoats of her full skirt fly up, showing her knickers! (Lucky she remembered to put them on that day.) Then a comedy policeman appears, climbs onto the trampoline and does some silly business, bouncing about with the two men, having a comedy fight and turning somersaults while the
