Setting up the AZ-GTi Mount in Equatorial mode - for portable Astrophotography!

The AZ-GTi is a cheap and affordable little GoTo mount, whose main purpose is to be used in Alt-Az mode for visual astronomy - and it works perfectly for that! However, it can be used in equatorial mode as well, to make it into tiny, fully GoTo mount that is as small as a star tracker! Let’s do this! Correction! The hex bolt used to connect the AZ-GTi to the Wedge is M8, not M6 Links to the required parts in the video (OPT links are affiliate): SkyWatcher AZ-GTi mount: SkyWatcher Wedge: Skywatcher StarAdventurer CW bar and weight: M8-M12 thread adapter: Aliexpress CW bar: Eyebell Vixen-compatible CW bar: General affiliate link to OPT: Other equipment I own (or similar/related): Cameras ZWO ASI1600MM Pro: ZWO ASI533MC Pro: Mounts Skywatcher AZ-EQ5: SkyWatcher EQ6-R Mount: iOptron AZ Mount Pro: Guiding Skywatcher EvoGuide 50ED ZWO ASI178MM: QHY MiniGuideScope: QHY5L-IIM: Focusers, filters, filter wheels ZWO EAF: ZWO EAF Advanced Bundle: ZWO EFW “ Or 31mm: ZWO EFW 7x36mm: ZWO Mini filter wheel: Astrodon filters: Optics Vixen R200SS Coma corrector: Vixen R200SS: Vixen PH Corrector / Reducer for R200SS: Coronado SolarMax Solar Telescope: Others Artseky Flat Panel: Telegizmos 365 Cover: Follow me!
