Edgar Allan Poe - Eldorado (poetry reading with text)

“Ride, boldly ride,“ the shade replied, “If you seek for Eldorado!“ A reading with text of a famous Edgar Allan Poe poem about a knight’s quest for Eldorado. The text presents many musical elements and seems to have been heavily influenced by the ballad form. Not surprisingly, it has been adapted as a song by various artists through the years. First published in April 1849, six months before Poe’s death. Featured images are free to use under the Creative Commons Zero (CC0) License.
