North Korea To Expel US Soldier After Interrogation, Blames Racial Discrimination For Border Sprint

North Korea announced that it would expel US soldier Travis King. State media KCNA reported that King had confessed to illegally entering North Korea in July. Pyongyang, however, did not specify how, when or to where King would be expelled. Earlier, King was released on July 10 and was being sent home to Texas, where he could have faced additional military discipline and discharge from the service. King faced two allegations of assault in South Korea and had pleaded guilty to one instance of assault and destroying public property.
