Iran says ’powerful’ India can stand against West; Renews offer to sell oil to New Delhi

Iran hails India as a ’rising power’ amid a big global divide over the Ukraine war. Iranian envoy Iraj Elahi said that India is strong enough to stand against the West. Warning the West, the Iranian envoy added that India is not Taiwan or South Korea and that they will buckle under West’s pressure. Tehran has also renewed its offer to sell oil to India and said that they hope that like New Delhi resisted the West over buying oil from Russia, similarly they might do for Iran.
