Slade - Coz I Luv You - Top Of The Pops - 18/11/1971

This clip is from the 2012 compilation show Slade At The BBC. Gary Jordan, who was involved in the production Slade Night for the BBC in 2012, provided some background information about this clip: “This comes from a wiped edition of Top of the Pops dated 18/11/71, it was recorded by Polygram (along with the 02/12/71 edition) the two tapes were handed to the BFI (British Film Institute) for safe keeping and restoration. Obviously I knew about these tapes years previously to 2012, when I put Slade Night together for BBC4. This entire 18/11/71 edition was screened by Kaleidoscope in June 2012 and this wiped performance of Coz I Luv You was also screened at the Slade Convention at The Lyndon Hotel in Walsall in October 2012. When I suggested the running order for Slade At The BBC, BBC Head of Music Mark Cooper wanted to know how I knew so much about the material I had chosen.
