It took me 30 years to feel like I was strong enough and ready to choreograph to such a masterpiece like “frozen” by MADONNA If you know me even just a little, then it’s no secret how much I love and I’m inspired by Madonna. I literally don’t like people who don’t like M. I just can’t trust them. I used to drive my mother crazy growing up! Now I drive my friend crazy! I would NOT be who I am or do what I do if it wasn’t for her PERIOD. I grew up watching her, analyzing her, studying her... she’s been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, her music helped me go through a lot of shit in my passed and still today! Yes I have danced to many of her songs in the past but I’ve never really filmed the entire combo or even posted them online because it’s simply too nerve racking to imagine that she could see it and maybe not like it or something.. It’s just too much pressure.. I don’t know if you know what I mean. And u know I don’t usually give a fuck about what people think!!!!! Anyways, like I said I finally feel strong and confident enough in my dance to do it today! This piece is also very challenging and hard even tho I try to make it look effortless.... hell this shit would be hard even in flats!!! Then again only a professional would even be able to notice all the transitions and details that make this combo what it is. I wanted to make sure my moves would be as timeless as this song is! This was a very emotional class for me.. I hope you will enjoy it and I hope it will make MOMdonna proud!!! Love Yanis xx
