A great bossa nova tune that’s a favorite with musicians, in part because of the rich possibilities it offers for chord substitution. This version showcases techniques I learned at the Berkeley Jazzschool this summer, including some hip dominant substitutions from Henry Johnson and double-time basslines from Mimi Fox.
