Warning for spoilers for the end of Season 2 of The Owl House! When Camila goes to turn off a light left on late at night, she stumbles across something that plucks at her heartstrings. I totally made this impulsively-- I originally wanted this to be just a longer comic strip but decided I’d have more fun just making it a shorthand animatic. And I was right!! this hurt!! Picked this specific song because it reminds me a LOT of the score “Home“ (by Brad Breeck) from the ending of King’s Tide - but it was longer and had more opportunity for me to play with timing! I didn’t even realize it the original score from KT is called “Home“ until I had already decided to name this animatic home-- which was a funny realization?? Dunno how characterization feels, we know just a little about Camila compared to other characters (I really like her though!!), and how she will react to Luz being home - and even how /Luz/ will react to being b
