Scratchbuilding For Beginners - A Model Railway Tutorial

A tutorial on Scratchbuilding for model railway beginners! Become A Channel Member: MERCH: On my new 009 layout Gofod Tynn, I knew I wanted to have a small station building but I couldn’t find anything that fit what I had in mind. So I decided to have a go a making something from scratch instead. I am by no means an expert when it comes to scratchbuilding for model railways but I’ve made a couple of things in the past and I don’t think it has to be as hard or complicated as we often imagine. If you’re thinking about getting into scratchbuilding yourself but don’t know where to start this video will show you the technique I’ve been using (which is just one of many!) and will hopefully give you some ideas for your own project. You don’t have to go out and take reference photos or measurements - just grab some thick card (or in my case mount board) and have a go at scratchbuilding something freelance! Products Used: (affiliates) Mountboard: Superglue: Doors & Windows: Embossed Stone Sheet: Embossed Roof Sheet: Plasticard Strips: Craft Knife: Cutting Mat: Micro LEDs: Thanks for watching! 😃
