It has now been more than two years since I established on the beautiful island of Senja in Arctic Norway, which is in my humble opinion the best place on Earth the experience and capture the phenomenon. I have been pointing all my cameras skywards for three consecutive aurora seasons. Every time there was a break in the clouds or with the guests of the aurora borealis observatory, I headed out in sometimes extreme conditions. The result is staggering and is well beyond what I was expecting when I first started chasing the lights on the island. I had been in Iceland, Canada or Sweden before but never was I able to get so much good footage so fast. The main reason for that is because Senja island is located right in the middle of the aur
