Shlohmo - “Outer Space” (Tschserkassky 1999)

In celebration of his recent EP, “Heaven”, @Shlohmo created an original score to Tschserkassky’s 1999 short silent horror film “Outer Space”. We’ll be broadcasting his performance filmed at @braindeadstudiosfairfax on Friday, Dec. 4th at TBD  “I gravitated towards Peter Tschserkassky’s work mainly because of his technique in film exposure manipulation, the chaotic movement lends itself so well to the kind of scattered IDM anxiety score I wanted to write. “Outer Space” specifically feels very timely too, trapped in your own home while becoming increasingly alienated from it and yourself, in this case literally fighting your alternate self. It’s like two parts of your brain tearing each other to pieces.“ - Shlohmo  Enjoy
