SO PEOPLE IT’S TIME THAT WE TALK ABOUT THIS SHOW. This show that has ruined me and completely obsessed me since the first episode. New obsession, god, believe me, you’re not ready for the WAVE of edits that’s coming to this show in the next few days on my channel. Yes, it’s been a month since there’s been anything new on my channel, but that’s because I’m working on, how can I say, 15 videos on House of the Dragon? More or less. And more specifically on Daemon and Rhaenyra. This couple... god, people. I have been shipping this couple for years. Long before the show was released, long before the show was even even considered. There was a time when I was casting Tamsin Egerton and Jason Isaacs for their roles in Targaryen collabs (if anyone remembers that collab : So when I heard that they were going to do a series about them... it was like a dream come true for me, a dream that I wouldn’t even dare to dream of, in fact. And yet. I don’t have the words to say how much Daemon and Rhaenyra have rocked my world but you will soon see it, because I’m just waiting for the first season to end to start bombarding my channel with all the edits I’m on I’ve been working for the past few weeks, you’re only going to see them for a while. But ironically, my first video on the show will be about Rhaenyra and her father, Viserys. Always very sensitive to father/daughter relationships, the one of Viserys and Rhaenyra touched me deeply. The blind love he has for her, she who is the child of the love of his life, to the detriment of his other children, is incredible. The fact that he fights until his last breath for her to remain heiress is incredible, even if it will actually start a war. And I thought back to this French song from my childhood, which suited so much to them, and here we are. I decided to post this video now, unlike the others on Daemyra, because, LOGICALLY, if Viserys is dead, we shouldn’t have any footage on him in the next episodes and I’m not missing anything lol. I hope, at least. I made the video pretty quickly, I’m only half happy with it, but well. A few details on the edit: I used the lyrics “having a daughter, it’s make a crime where the culprit is also the victim“ to say in the end that, by naming Rhaenyra heiress to the throne, being a woman, Viserys to effectively divide the kingdom and start a war. This act in itself is not Rhaenyra’s fault, she did not choose the sexism of her time or to be born a woman, but it does not prevent the fact that being a woman is the problem, so it seemed to me to make sense for these lyrics of the song. “That she’ll wear make-up for a liar“ and “I know their tricks and their victories“ because, yeah, I think Daemon and Rhaenyra are in love, but Daemon is still a bastard, people lol. Also, I’m #teamblack and I stand for the Targaryen family, but if I hear a single hateful word against Alice’s character on my channel or even on the Greens, I will start hatred on my own. Both clans deserves each other, and in many ways, in truth, Targaryens are probably worst.
