Alice the Great Horned Owl After a Bath

Alice is a permanently injured, human-imprinted owl who works at the Houston Nature Center and lives at home with her handler. She bathes about every 2 weeks or so. After her bath she hops up onto the railing, rouses (shakes her feathers), feaks (wipes her wet beak), and continues to rouse and preen until she’s dry.
