Her reaction to losing him is the most emotional we have ever seen her and that says a lot for a character who never expresses these kinds of feelings in the show at all. Adam is at the centre of everything Lute does, he has had a huge influence on her passion for taking down sinners so now that he is gone this burning desire will only grow stronger. Lute is thirsting to take vengeance against the sinners that took Adam away from her but given how deeply the situation affected her, she starts to question whether there is a deeper reason behind why she wants to avenge him so badly.
