Somalia is working with Kenyan authorities to investigate why a cargo plane carrying coronavirus aid supplies fatally crashed amid unconfirmed reports it was shot down.
The African Express Airways flight crashed in the town of Bardale, in the southern Bay region, killing six crew members on Monday (May 4).
The al Qaeda-linked insurgency al Shabaab has a presence in the area -- though Bardale and its airfield are secured by Somali and Ethiopian troops.
