The speaker for this Big Question Forum is Dr. Erica Bains, PH.D. representing the Sikh religion. “What is the Relationship between Science and Religion in Today’s World.“ Dr. Erica Bains is an elected Council Member of the Interfaith Council of the Contra Costa County and has spent 25 years learning and teaching the foundation, virtues, and principles of Sikhism. Her education background includes Applied Management and Decisions Sciences with a focus on Computer Information Systems and Finance and Accounting. During the last 20 years she has managed to juggle between raising 2 kids, running a business, teaching at Saint Mary’s College, and serving on the board of directors of many non-profit organizations.
