May Day Parade In Red Square (1967)

Location: Moscow, Russia, Soviet Union / USSR Story about May Day parade through Red Square in the Soviet Union. GV. Red Square. MS of military march past. MS. Pan along the line of military and political leaders standing and saluting on Lenin’s Mausoleum watching the parade. VS of the leaders, among them are Russian Prime Minister Alexei Kosygin, President of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR Leonid Brezhnev, First Vice-Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR Anastas Mikoyan, and Marshal Andrei Grechko. MS. Grechko, Brezhnev and Kosygin together. VS. Russian army, navy and air force head the parade, heavy mechanised units follow and the rockets from small to very large. VS. The workers now parade and the people wave to their party heads. Banners include portraits of Karl Marx, Frederick Engels, Vladimir Ilyich Lenin and Soviet slogans. (FG.)
