Mountain, at the 1970 New York Pop Festival at Randalls Island
Videofreex brought their multi-cam studio to Randalls Island to capture some of the top groups and this was the first out-door concert to employ video projection at stage-rear. Mountain was famous for their hit recording of, “MIssissippi Queen“. Here are a few less well known tunes from their stage act (Stormy Monday Bues, etc.). Our recording of “MQ“ was mysteriously “withdrawn“ from our library shelf. It appears, abridged, elsewhere on the internet. But first, a word from the acts were recorded. To learn what’s in the library, Google search: Video Data Bank and then search Videofreex collection or call them for details.
