Part 3:
--------
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. shared personal memories of growing up in the Kennedy family. He recalled his childhood experiences when his uncle, John F. Kennedy, became the 35th president, including attending the convention in Los Angeles. He noted that his parents were very inclusive, involving their children in their activities and teaching them about the importance of their historical moment. Additionally, he spoke about his father, Robert F. Kennedy Sr., and his daring war against organized crime, which he began even before JFK appointed him as U.S. Attorney General. Despite warnings from Democrats about the risk of alienating unions, his father pursued his beliefs that the mafia’s infiltration of several institutions, including labor unions, the judiciary, and congress, represented a grave threat to American democracy.
