“Sokolovi, sivi tići“ was used unofficially as the anthem of the Republic of Serbian Krajina, during the Croatian War of Independence. The official anthem of the self-proclaimed state was “Bože pravde“, which was during the same time period used as the anthem of Republika Srpska during the Bosnian War and after, until 2008, and is today used as the anthem of the Republic of Serbia.
