We had an epic visit at the Coricancha today, AKA the Temple of the Sun. Thanks to my bros Stephen & John for pointing out these interesting aspects… The Coricancha was the crown jewel of the Inca, the epicenter of the Incan empire. The temple of the Sun was lined with gold & silver before the Spanish conquered Cusco & stripped it bare. Today a Catholic Church has been built on top of its ruins… what’s more?
