“Where are the girls of the old Brigade? Yesterday, Eve unearthed one of the earliest lady acrobatic turns, the Sisters Danief. Meet them - (in the year 1905!)“ A female acrobatic troupe performs in front of a painted backdrop. They do a balancing stunt, four girls balance on the body of one other - a rather large woman. The girls do some tumbling.
“Twenty-seven years ago, these ladies of the “Viola“ Brigade amused our parents with just the same old tricks you see today. More gymnastic tumbling. “No slimming those days - for Adam preferred Eve as she was built - not an amended specification!“ Three girls link arms around each others’ waists and tumble. The girls do some forward rolls and bouncing around.

Note: this is a film from 1905 with intertitles added in 1932 - a kind of “look back“ at the act.
