When the Wind Blows, The FUNdamentals of Hang Gliding

The words and music of the song were written, performed, recorded and engineered by the genius musician Tony Lasley. Tony recorded “When the Wind Blows“ entirely on his phone right after the first sound recording app came out for the i-phone. His video of the recording process is very interesting, since he made all of the instrumental sounds by innovative modifications to his guitar. All of the orchestration you hear is the result of the application of Tony’s creative mind to a single acoustic guitar. Prepare to be impressed. Interesting fact: Tony Lasley was my video-editing teacher when I took a class at Palomar College several years ago. When I first heard this song, I knew it would be perfect for a future hang gliding video. Tony has graciously agreed to allow me to use it in this film.
