So there are bands and then there is #TheEagles who to me is possibly one of the most talented and melodic Rock Acts in the world ! This is a song written by Jim Capaldi, Paul Carrack, and Peter Vale and was first performed by the Eagles in 1994, during their #hellfreezesover reunion tour, with lead vocals by their bassist #timothybschmit who is one of the most underrated singers ever! Although the song was never formally released as a single in the US, and thus was not eligible to appear on the US Billboard Hot 100 under the rules then in place, it still spent three weeks at number one on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart in early 1995. I have seen them live 2 times, once at the end of their Hell Freezes Over Tour at Wembley Stadium in London and once Live in Dubai in 2012 and both times it was a religious experience !
