#luisacyrot #elmundodelui #miniatures En esta ocasión voy a hacer un mueblecito portallaves de madera para casa de muñecas escala 1:12. Estaré usando palitos de madera de distinto ancho que pegaré con uno de mis pegamentos favoritos (no es publicidad porque no me pagan, pero vale la pena la mención): cola de madera profesional de Ceys. Si no vives en España no sé si podrías conseguirlo pero seguro que encuentras uno similar. Busca uno que sea especial para madera, que tenga fibras naturales en su composición (aserrín) y que sea de secado rápido. Al ser un pegamento de secado rápido, las piezas pequeñitas se trabajan excelentemente bien y al tener fibras sirve como resanador y se puede lijar con facilidad. ¡Todo a la vez! El secreto para hacer muebles de madera prolijos es lijar sin mucha fuerza pero mucho tiempo. Es decir, hay que ir poco a poco desgastando la madera hasta que no se distinga ninguna unión al tacto ni se vea ninguna astilla. Lo ideas es terminar de lijar con una lija extra fina para dar un acabado profesional. Si te fijas en el video, le cambié ligeramente el color a mi madera porque no la quería tan clara pero tampoco la quería pintada, así que solamente le di una veladura con acuarela, sin mojar demasiado. The secret to make neat wooden furniture is to sand without much force but for a long time. That is to say, you have to gradually abrade the wood until you can’t distinguish any joint to the touch or see any splinter. The ideas is to finish sanding with an extra fine sandpaper to give a professional finish. If you look at the video, I slightly changed the color of my wood because I didn’t want it so light but I didn’t want it painted either, so I only gave it a glaze with watercolor, without getting it too wet.
