Jussi Björling Open Air at Gröna Lund - Land du välsignade (1937)

Jussi Björling sings Althén’s: Land du välsignade at Stockholm’s amusement park Gröna Lund Tivoli. The orchestra of the Svensk Filmindustri is conducted by Nils Grevillius, conductor of the Royal Swedish Opera House. This clip was part of the 1937 movie Fram för framgång in which Björling played the leading part. This recording has been repitched and cleaned. The moviesound was poor and over 1/2 note too fast. Unfortunately, the annoying humming at around 2000 Hz could not be removed completely without compromising the voice.
