How has speedcubing changed since the first world record? (ft. Matty, Leo, & Tymon)
Speedcubing has without a doubt changed since the first world record in 1982. But what is different now in terms of how cubers approach their solve? In this video we take a close look at Minh Thai’s world record single, how he solved it, and compare it to modern top solvers walking through the same scramble. It is very apparent that they are better, but what impresses us the most is just how far into each solve modern solvers can see.
