Cyprien Katsaris live in Budapest - Mendelssohn: Piano Concerto No. 1 in G minor, Op. 25

Recorded at the Palace of Arts, Béla Bartók National Concert Hall in Budapest with the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Yoav Talmi on 6 December 2011. Before the Concerto (7’16) Mr. Katsaris improvised as a tribute to Liszt and after the Concerto he played as an encore Bach’s Prelude No. 3 in E Minor, BWV 855a arranged for piano by Alexander Siloti (27’53).
