This is the super-exclusive Bentley Bacalar and my first drive experiencing the most exclusive Bentley of recent times! Bacalar is a product of the Mulliner division, with only 12 customer cars and a £ tax price tag, making it something very special to take for a first drive. Bacalar represents a return to coachbuilding for Mulliner, Bentley’s most exclusive division, with a limited run of only 12 customer cars based on the underpinnings of a Continental GT, most akin to a GT Speed. It features a design that previews the next generation Bentley cars, and numerous design elements from the EXP 100 GT concept that was launched at Bentley’s 100th anniversary. Under the bonnet you’ll find a twin turbo W12 engine that puts out 659PS (650bhp) and 900Nm with an 8 speed dual clutch automatic transmission. The powertrain delivers through a permanently all wheel drive configuration, with rear bias, and has no issues delivering an effortless and wonderful driving experience.
