Wedding shoes made for . Princess Mary filmed by courtesy of the House of Haldinstein (?). The shoes are made by ex-service men and women from finest silver brocade. Intertitle reads: “Good Luck!“. Static shot of the shoes in a graphic frame. Two men examine the cloth from which the shoes will be made. Pieces are then cut. Women sew the pieces together. Intertitle reads: “...this highest class of shoe is made inside out“. Top shot of man working on the shoe, sewing it on to a last. The last is taken out and the shoes are turned inside out. The heel of the shoe is attached and trimmed. Pressure is applied whilst the glue is setting. The shoes are then “buffed“. A platinum and pearl flower attachment is shown in C/U.
