1999 A.D. (1967)

This is one of my favs in the realm of 1960’s retro futurism, not because of what they got wrong but because of how much they got right. Wall mounted television screens, online shopping, and microwave ovens - pretty good for 1967. They do make on of the classic retro future epic fails by predicting we’d be swimming in leisure time - I work more now than I did 20 years ago, and get paid less. Also, they failed to predict the couple would be morbidly obese - but still, pretty accurate! Kudos for the desig
