Does the Latin verb always come at the end of a phrase or sentence? Let’s take a look at actual Latin texts to see if Caesar and Cicero always put the verb at the end of their sentences. Latin syntax is often erroneously thought to be exclusively SOV (Subject Object Verb) but the verb can actually occur in many places in the sentences, including the very beginning!
