Up to 100 refugees and migrants forced their way into the area of Melilla, a Spanish North African enclave, on Thursday, after climbing over two border fences. Refugees were seen cheering and celebrating as they managed to enter the Spanish territory and reach the CETI, the short-stay migrant centre, where they are usually accommodated for a few weeks before trying to reach continental Spain, and either stay there or travel to other destinations in Europe.
