Full title reads: “The Peril from the Air. Sir John Simon through Pathe Gazette explains the Anglo-French conversations“.
London.
Sir John Simon (British Foreign Secretary) speaks from behind a desk in his grand study.
He informs the Pathe audience about recent talks with French politicians, namely M. Flandin (Prime Minister of France) and Pierre Laval (French Foreign Minister). The new threat of hostile nations using aerial bombardment has lead France and Britain to ask other European nations (Locarno powers), including Germany, to make an agreement. The agreement is that if one nation attacks another by air, the other nations in Europe will join together in a “Continental Airforce“ to retaliate.
