Polymer Clay Tutorial Mokume Gane Mica Shift Pendant Design Pattern Idea Dry Brush Technique How To
In this tutorial, I demonstrate how to create a fun and colorful pendant, doing what I like to call the “dry brush technique.““ This technique reminds me of dry brush painting, especially on pre-baked clay.
Link to 2nd tutorial: How to make a spiral bail from polymer clay.
This is a 2 n 1 demo, as this mokume gane will have mica shift effects when using metallic or pearl clays. The clay used is Sculpey Premo. All colors are mixed by myself, so unfortunately, they are not available in stores. However, Premo has a variety of colors that are similar to the ones I’ve used.
I hope you enjoy it!
