I’ve always really loved playing a wide variety of genres, and like to focus on different things in each song. Wether it’s creativity, technicality, groove etc.. With this song by Switchfoot, I really love the feel- the pocket is so tight, the groove is simple, and the words captivate me. I didn’t want to change anything about it. I had the most trouble getting through this song out of the 3. I was really tired at this point, and kept messing up. I’ve always done all of my videos in one take, and sometimes it takes . haha Once we made it to the 2nd chorus of this take, I knew it was gonna be ok ha ;) So we took this one and rolled with it!
