Tunisian Crochet Patterns: Knitter Knotter Tunisian blanket CAL: Braided Cables Square

In this tutorial, I showed you the basic stitch patterns and techniques to use to make your own Braided Cables Square. This Tunisian crochet pattern consist of 2 types of cables. Smaller cables are crocheted on the outside and consist of 9 stitches. The central square is worked over 12 stitches. The cables are separated by Tunisian purl stitches. You can use cable needle, a spare hook or any other tool you find suitable to hold 3 stitches while making the cables. It is advisable that you crochet the stitches that will be crossed over loosely to avoid puckering of the fabric. You can find the full pattern on my blog in the link below.
