Coming to America (1988) - ’The King’s Motorcade’ scene

There wasn’t much original score in this film, and the only part of Nile Rodgers’s music on the soundtrack was the song ’Coming to America’, performed by ’The System’. This rousing orchestral piece was released on a film score compilation titled ’Screen Themes’, performed by The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by John Scott. Starring Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, James Earl Jones, Paul Bates, Madge Sinclair, Cuba Gooding Jr., Frankie Faison, John Amos, Allison Dean, Shari Headley and Eriq La Salle. Co-written by Eddie Murphy, and directed by John Landis. Original score by Nile Rodgers.
