Customer Feature of the Week - PML Boundary Condition in FEEM

This week’s video introduces the ability to add PML boundary conditions in FEEM. This is necessary when calculating loss for leaky modes and radiation losses in bent waveguides. We demonstrate the utility of this new feature in one of our newest application gallery examples where PML boundaries are added to a simulation, enabling us to calculate mode losses due to radiation into a high index substrate.
