Victory Day mars - Marinierskapel

Victory Day is een mars die jaarlijks op 9 mei bij de grote militaire parade op het Rode Plein in Moskou wordt gespeeld. In 2014 hadden de Marinierskapel en Tamboers en Pijpers van het Korps Mariniers deze mars ook op het repertoire. Deze werd onder meer uitgevoerd voor Queen Elizabeth op de Beating Retreat in Londen en de Nationale Taptoe in Ahoy. Dirigent is majoor Peter Kleine Schaars en tamboer-maître Ed Oosterom. Victory Day march is the official march on the Red Square in Moscow during the celebration of the victory of the 2nd World War. The Marine Band of the Royal Netherlands Navy and the Drums & Fifes performed this march in 2014 on the Jubilee edition of the Beating Retreat by the Royal Marines in London and on the National Military Tattoo in the Netherlands.
