Welcome to this gentle coming-back-into-our-bodies-hearts-and-breath practice. Bringing in peacefulness, healing and deep inward mind. I feel that after everything we’ve been going through it’s a really appropriate and important time to Restore! This practice accentuates breath in each posture - long soft smooth inhalations and long soft smooth exhalations throughout, along with deep intentional relaxing of the brain and the senses of perception being continually guided inwards - away from the outer illusion - and towards the light of our true Selves. Advanced students may wish to extend the practice by replacing the final Viparita Karani with Viparita Dandasana on the chair and supported Sarvangasana/Halasana.
