Cause of error: bootmgr is the boot file for the Windows operating system. The bootmgr file is usually stored on the “System Reserved“ drive or on the “C drive“. If a drive is stored inside the bootmgr file, the partition status is “active“, but if the partition state is “inactive“, an error “File: \Boot\BCD. Status: 0xc000000f.“ Will occur.
Solution:
1. Create a Windows 10 bootable USB flash disk.
2. Insert the Windows 10 bootable USB flash, restart the computer and boot from the USB DISK.
